Q: Where does Global Food Safety Training operate?
A: Global Food Safety Training operates from Perth Western Australia, but is happy to provide our services nationally and
internationally.
Q: Is Global Food Safety Training a Government organisation or Not for profit organisation?
A: Global Food Safety Training is privately owned organisation, self funded.
Q: Is Global Food Safety Training insured?
A: Global Food Safety Training operates within the requirements of the law. As such we carry Public & Product Liability, Worker Compensation and Professional Indemnity insurance at all times.
Q: Is the training at Global Food Safety Training recognised?
A: Yes, it is an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) with the WA Training Accreditation Council and RABQSA International inc .
Q: Are Global Food Safety Training staff licensed?
A: Global Food Safety Training staff is registered with RABQSA International and SQFI as Auditors, Practitioners /Consultants and Skills Examiners where applicable. All staff have completed certificate 4 in Work Place Training and Assessment. Several staff members possess additional licenses relevant to special industry sectors.
Q: What experience do the trainers have with Food Safety, HACCP, Auditing, education and training and the Food Service, Health and Hospitality industry?
A: The Management and Staff at Global Food Safety Training who deliver the majority of training have been working in the associated industries for over 25 years. Additionally they still work with industry in the fields of Auditing, HACCP system and Quality Management services, as well as training.
Q: What are the class sizes for courses?
A: The average class size is 6-12 participants and is capped at a maximum of 15. However we have the capacity to comfortably accommodate 25 participants and larger number if required for conference services.
Q: Do your deliver in the work place as well as your own training rooms?
A: Global Food Safety Training deliver training on the job, in the work place or at our dedicated training facilities to accommodate all client needs.
Q: Do I get a certificate when I complete a course with Global Food Safety Training?
A: Participants in short courses receive Certificates of Participation upon completion.
Participants in Training Programs who are assessed as competent for the units of competence from that training program will receive a Certificate of Attainment that complies with the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). Participants also receive a Training Record book signed by the assessor that provides a complete list of all the competencies achieved during the course.
Participants in full certificate courses who are assessed as competent for the units of competence from that training program will receive Qualification Certificates or Certificate of Attainment that complies with the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). Full Certificate courses participants also receive a Training Record book signed by the assessor that provides a complete list of all the competencies achieved during the course.
Q: Does a certificate I receive from Global Food Safety Training allow me to obtain credit for another course from another training provider?
A: Skills taught at Global Food Safety Training are centred on competencies from the nationally endorsed Training Packages. As a Registered RTO, skills assessed at Global Food Safety Training are nationally recognised.
Q: You don’t have a course exactly what I’m looking for. What can you offer as an alternative?
A: Customised training courses can be developed to suit the particular needs of an individual or company. Global Food Safety Training have delivered many customised training courses in the past for major Food Service, Hospitality and Manufacturing companies in Western Australia and Nationally . Skills assessment and skills recognition services can also be provided as well as the delivery of training.
